The Nurture Project Launches a New Programme

‘It’s not just a walk in the Park’ seems quite a poignant phrase when levelled at our own personal journeys through life. However it feels more pertinent than ever as we all come to terms with the recent pandemic.

Here at The Nurture Project, we have noticed a real appetite over the last year for ‘walk and talk’ therapy sessions in our woodland setting, and the momentum if anything has increased post lockdown. So we are very excited to announce we will be launching our ‘It’s not just a walk in the Park’ programme. The main aim of the programme is to support adults in the local community by engaging them in small group work using horticultural therapy and eco therapy in a woodland garden setting.

‘It’s not just a walk in the Park’ will start on Thursday September 24th, 10.30am-12.30pm, running bi-weekly. The programme will be led by a horticultural therapist and assisted by one of the project’s volunteers.

There is still one place left on the programme… So if you are interested please contact Carlyn Kilpatrick on 07976 233777 or carlyn@thenurtureproject.co.uk.
