With the prospect of some Winter days ahead, which many people find challenging, now is the perfect time for us to harness our energies and take a cue from nature by resting and restoring – ready for the Spring – much like animals hibernating through the Winter, replenishing their energy through sleep.

We are all ‘hard wired’ to connect with nature and her natural cycles, and the seasons are nature’s way of prompting us to take care of ourselves and build our resilience, which in turn enhances our health and wellbeing.  As the leaves are now finally falling from the trees, we eagerly wait to see new buds appearing in the coming months – the promise of rejuvenation, re-growth and new life just around the corner.

“What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness” – John Steinbeck
